Supreme court cases
1.)2012: On June 28, 2012, the Supreme Court issued a complicated ruling in National Federation Of Independent Business et al. V. Sebelius, Secretary of Health And Human Services, et al. that upheld the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the health care reform law passed by Congress and signed by President Obama in 2010. While the decision ultimately supported health care reform, it also created some new problems for ACA implementation and signaled a continued threat to the Constitution’s role as a protector of civil rights.
