39 states are against assisted suicide
West Virginia is one of those states
55% would rather die of pain
You can go to jail for 10 years or longer for assisted suicide
There are other ways to end suffering
If they do it, they might have made the wrong choice

If you can get married before you're 18, then why can't you drink a beer.
Kids have older people buy them alcohol even though they are underage.

Response to my grandchild

I have made a difference by being the first one to graduate of my mother and my two older of sisters. I also hope to be the first one to go to college out of my immediate family. I also have made a difference by havign a good job and having a good family. People always told me that I would never get anywhere in life but don't believe them. They are just trying to make you feel bad. They don't believe in you. Go for what you want to do in life.

1. From the movie, what are the benefits of a centralized system?
It helps people keep track of what they need to do.

2. How did the advanced technology control the lives of the people in the movie?
By telling them what to do and if they didnt do it, they would be killed or someone they loved would be killed.

3. Do you want to have that kind of technology in our community, like our school or municipality? Defend your stand.
In a way because we would be able to keep track of home work but it could get out of control really quickly.

I use it to check my email and keep in touch with my friends that live in other states.

Don't abuse technology. Treat and use technology with respect because it could all be gone tomorrow.
